This beautiful rollerball is made from a material called Fordite. Fordite is made up of paint buildup from automotive, truck and boat manufacturers. It is taken out and stabalized in resin to make it stable to turn. As it is turned the different layers from color changes are turned away and exposes the different colors and patterns. You never know what patterns will be exposed and there will never be another one like it. It is finished with a hard and durable finish and polished out to a high gloss.
The hardware is high quality and finished in high grade Rhodium. Rhodium is extremely durable and has a brilliant luster.
The pen comes with a Schmidt style ink cartridge that is readily available at office supply stores or on line. You can also use any standard rollerball refill.
