Amboyna Burl Rollerball

  Amboyna Burl is one of my favorite woods that I have the honor to work with. Found in S.E Asia this burl is considered rare and prized for its incredible figure and color. Typically it is turned into veneers for high end trim in luxury cars and yahts and solid pieces are used for art pieces when only the best will do. It also smells amazing when working with it.

This rollerball pen is made using a fine example of this amazing wood. This example has the eyes, the swirling burl figure and varying color that is highly sought after. No matter where you look it is packed with amazing figure.

  Fitted with high end Rhodium plated components this pen has a robust modern look that will take center stage in any collection or conversation. 

  It comes with a very smooth writing Schmidt 5888F ink cartridge that can be found at most office supply stores or on line. 

The cap is not postable ( cannot be attached to the other end during use).
